The founder of the specialist for IT documentation and CMDB moves from the management board to the advisory board of the company.

After almost 27 years in an executive position, the founder of the Düsseldorf-based software manufacturer, Joachim Winkler, is moving from the executive board to the company's advisory board. Winkler is thus stepping down from his operational activities as CEO of the company on March 31, 2023, and will continue to support the company from the advisory board.

With his departure, Stefan Böttcher as CEO and Daniel Kirsten as CTO finally move to the front row and will continue to pursue the path taken so far with continuity and determination, while also setting new accents. "I am very pleased, both personally and in terms of the company, to have won over these two long-standing and long-known employees for this new role," says Joachim Winkler before his last meeting as CEO. The trio has been working together for years and has prepared the transition so carefully. "We are keen to continue developing synetics' business model together with our long-standing partners and with the backing of our new shareholder," adds Stefan Böttcher.

The focus is to be on the company's two core products, i-doit pro and docupike. "With the new management and the new tasks, our customers and employees can certainly rely on one thing: That we will continue to unite the spirit, enthusiasm and expertise for IT documentation at synetics." commented CTO Daniel Kirsten, who started at synetics 25 years ago, on the transition.
