The work-life balance
A good work-life balance for our employees is important to us. That is why we have developed a time system in which you can arrange your working hours flexibly.
Flextime
The daily framework is set by our so-called “working time frame”. However, you decide when you work - flextime allows you to work more or less flexibly in and around these hours on a daily basis, provided company operations remain unimpeded.
Individual working models
We’re all familiar with the situation: craftsmen have announced themselves at short notice, you are waiting for an important package or you just want to work on a concept undisturbed - this is where remote work goes a long way. We have had good experiences with digital co-working but it's still nice when we can see each other in the office. That is why we have implemented different working models and can thus meet the needs of both sides. Whether on-site, hybrid or remote, we practice each of it and do so according to individual agreement.
Personal days / Special leave
Make time for special occasions. In addition to your annual leave, we grant personal days for special events, such as marriage or your child’s wedding. In addition, we only count half a day of leave for Shrove Monday, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. -

Onboarding process
You can get started straight away. Not only will all access and hardware be ready to use on the first day, but our People & Culture Team and your new team will be right at your side: We organize everything you need in advance so that you can experience a smooth and easy transition into the company.
Buddy system
We want to make your start as comfortable as possible. That's why we provide you with a colleague as a dedicated “buddy” from day one. This way you have an initial contact and don't have to navigate your new working environment on your own.
Feedback
Clarity and a common understanding of expectations are important - especially during the probationary period. During the onboarding phase, we have regular feedback sessions, at least every four weeks. Through this, we can encourage and support you in a purposeful manner in your initial months. -

It doesn't matter whether you come from the Ruhr area, the Lower Rhine or Dusseldorf: We are very well connected through public transport.
Want a JobRad?
Through the company JobRad we offer you the opportunity to lease a bicycle or e-bike at a reduced rate. Up to a value of EUR 1,299.00 per bicycle, this is completely free of charge, as we contribute EUR 40.00 per month and contract. After the lease expires, the JobRad is of course yours to keep.
Job ticket
You can get a discounted Rheinbahn monthly ticket which saves you 11 percent compared to the regular price. For our trainees and dual students, we cover the full costs for the job ticket. -

We provide feedback: spontaneously, but above all systematically. In our talent management process, your team leader analyzes and evaluates your performance and development potential. You will discuss this in a confidential meeting and work out individual development activities, which you will then implement conjointly with the People & Culture team. These activities may range from specialist training and coaching to building the path for progressing to a higher position. -

Your application process with us

- Apply using the linked application form adding your personal data and your detailed CV as a PDF file.
- A confirmation of receipt via e-mail or an initial short screening call via phone regularly follows within three days.
- We will check whether your profile fits our position, which depending on the number of applications, may take two to three weeks. If your application convinces us, we will invite you to a short virtual ‘quick meet’.
- When successful, we will proceed to a second personal interview to go into more depth of your skills, competencies and interests. We can also clarify open questions and talk about the general conditions. Please bring relevant credentials or certificates to this interview.
- You have convinced us and are fit for synetics? We inform you as quickly as possible, usually within a few days. Then it's time to say: Welcome to the team!
- If it doesn't work out, it's not a testimony to your qualifications, often it's simply the smallest of differences that tip the scales. If you are interested, we will be happy to add you to our talent pool for 6 months and connect with you should a suitable opportunity arise. Please let us know if this is of interest!
A few tips for our meeting

- Be yourself! We will be. We work in comparatively small teams and it is important to us that they harmonize. We would like to make the best possible use of the short time of the interview to find out whether we are a good match - on both sides.
- Tell us what inspires and drives you. We are keen on understanding what motivates people and where their passions lie - this is the only way we can support them.
- Don't be afraid to ask clarifying questions. We are looking for open and honest personalities - that starts with the first interview.
